The day comes to an end
And our time draws down
On the edge of a precipice
We must make a choice
Decide to rectify our sins
Or embrace oblivion
We have stolen so much
In pursuit of profits
We are the victims of our own crimes
So close to the point of no return
Mounting problems
Our planet is hanging on
Humans are standing on
An environment that can’t sustain
Lies that deny science
Billions of species, gone
A widening wealth gap
Depleted natural resources
Worsening climate disasters
Reject corporate lies
Their greed is draining our lifeblood
There is enough for everyone
An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight). It is overall sharp, dark, hypnotic and unrelenting. One of those rare convincing new bands that hold proud the legacy of the biggest names. Bertrand Marchal
Bought this thing on my laptop to listen to during my 80 minute classes. It’s the only thing loud enough to drown out my teachers. It’s become kind of an everyday listen for me at this point. With every listen I realize more and more that Caustic is the heaviest record ever made. colek_WM
